CTS Tusonix, a subsidiary of CTS Corporation, informed the public of their release of seven new sample kits consisting of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) filters that are perfect for use in military applications, industrial control processing equipment, telecommunications and T&M transport systems in the United States as well as the European market.
CTS Tusonix’s 4100-901 and 4400-901 kits are created to abide by the US industry’s standards. The 4100-901 kit takes “Pi” filter samples of solder-mount and ultra-miniature US thread-bushing filters. This collection offers small capacitance values ranging from 1,500 pF to 5,500 pF, 500 working voltage DC and 350 working voltage AC, both of which are at a temperature of 125 degrees Celsius.
CTS Tusonix’s 4400-901 sample kit on the other hand has “c” type solder-mount feed-through capacitors and thread-bushing mount filters. This kit features capacitive performance that goes as high as 10 nF, with tolerance up to +100-0% and 500 working voltage AC at 125 degrees Celsius.
Sample kits 4100-900 and 4400-900 are specifically picked for the European market. The 4100-900 kit contains “Pi” filter samples of solder-mount and ultra-miniature metric thread-bushing (M5) filters. This kit highlights minimum capacitance values ranging from 1,500 pF to 5,500 pF, with 500 working voltage DC and 350 working voltage AC, both of which take place at 125 degrees Celsius.
The 4400-900 sample kit contains “C” type solder-mount feed through capacitors and “C” type thread-bushing mount filters. This kit features filters with capacitive performance with ranges as high as 10 nF, with tolerance as high as +100-0% and 500 working voltage AC at 85 degrees Celsius.
The next two kits, the 4300-900 and 4306-900, are also “C” type kits that are perfect for applications where board space and high performance are vital. The 4300-900 kit is a variety of ten parts from the CTS’ solder mount EMI/RFI 4300 series that are created with minimum capacitance from 10 pF to 27 nF, 300 working voltage DC at 85 degrees Celsius and 200 working voltage DC at 125 degrees Cesius.
The last sample kit is a combination of twelve surface-mount EMI/RFI filters and is called the 4700-900. This is carefully picked for engineers that are creating signal processing and analog sensing applications.
