R and F Series of High Performance High Efficiency Fans from NMB

NMB Technologies Corporation, a Minebea Group Company produced a new group of high efficiency and high powered series of cooling fans and impellers.

These satisfy the demands of applications such as storage and server rack systems, routers and switches, base stations, modular data systems, and applications for medical and industrial purposes.

NMB recently designed the R and F Series which are the most efficient fans in today’s market. The R and F Series of high power cooling fans have hit milestones in regard to airflow performance as well. Design highlights of the R and F Series are a new high efficiency 3 phase motor created with magnet materials developed by NMB. The use of advanced modeling techniques for the airfoil design has ensured that this series of cooling fans and impellers is the best out there in aerodynamics.

The R Series offers two sizes:

  • R150 as a 150mm X 172mm X51mm cooling fan
  • R172, a 172mm X 51mm DC cooling fan

R150 is best performing at all pressure levels and highest peak efficiency at 42% versus their competitor’s 38%

R172 has best performance at high pressure, highest max static, highest peak efficiency, lowest price, longest life expectancy when compared to their nearest competitor

The features the R Series fans introduce include upgraded features such as:

  • Open or closed loop speed control
  • Digital bi-directional control
  • Direct thermistor control
  • Quick customization with simple code changes
  • Auto brake

The F Series is a high power series of impellers. These range in sizes from the following list:

  • F175 model at 175mm X 69mm
  • F225 at 225mm X 99mm
  • F250 at 250mm X 99mm
  • F280 at 280mm X 129mm

These series of DC cooling fans and impellers are all high efficiency, superior aerodynamic performance, control flexibility, easily customized, and are available right now from all our authorized distributors.
